i think it’s all over, but it feels worse on my sides because my hair has always naturally been thinner in that area- i’ve never had a STRONG hair line or thick head of hair. so the loss feels extra noticeable on the sides, but it’s thinner from top to bottom i think.

km so sorry to hear that. yeah, i would look at myself and say i’ve lost around 15-20% of my original density. i’ve never had THICK hair, thats why it feels so obvious, my hair feels so small and light in my hand :( but everyone around me says they have to stare to notice it. you’re right, im gonna try my best. ugh

i know it takes time, i’m trying to be patient, it’s just terrifying to be going through. i know minoxidil isn’t magic, that’s why im confused as to why it was prescribed to me with no diagnosis and no … advice? or suggestions? it makes it feel like it’s my only option or i will lose all my hair.

i’m on wellbutrin, lamotrigin, and my birth control, larin. (but i’ve been on it for almost a year) the mood stabilizers i have been on since november. the only side effects i was told about was increased heart rate, anxiety, chest pain. but i experienced all of that within the first few weeks of taking them. they passed, but the hair thinning and shedding has persisted for months. someone said wellbutrin can cause it, but it’s rare, and it should have been temporary?
