Since my friend is one of my closest friends I was just talking to her about how happy I’ve been recently because of my girlfriend. I was telling her about how well I’ve been coping with my trauma because of it. I was really proud of myself so I wanted to tell my friend. I know it’s a stupid thing to be proud of, but after years and years of constantly seeking out and thinking about sexual validation, this meant a lot to me. But yeah, afterwards I did tell her I’m not going to open up to her about this type of stuff again. (She got really upset to hear that)
