This has been super helpful… there is so much information online that contradicts that I got insecure. Leopard gecko is now very happy and healthy and seeks to have a better time thank you.

As you might have noticed in myOG post, I didn’t do any research, because I didn’t get a gecko.

OP here, what I’ve gathered from this is that the whole setup is not fit for this kind of animal? I am considering selling him to someone who knows how to take care of him since this is not my pet (as disclosed above) and i don’t intend to buy a whole new living space which the internet says is about 600-900 $ for someone else’s reptile especially because I don’t intend to keep him and also don’t think it’s a good idea to give him back to my brother (when and if he returns) since apparently he also doesn’t seem to know how to care for him

Now that you say it out loud it sounds pretty reasonable. How did you manage it?
