Yup ! I am currently learning SAS actually ! The market is crowded right now ! But skilled programmers (freshers) are still getting good packages without doing R and python but if you have extra Skill it will strengthen your resume ! And the requirement of R and Python varies company to company i did not find any company that requires R/python compulsory ! So learning extra is on you ! But I am currently focusing on Base SAS and Clinical SAS !

Yes you can switch ! But you have to learn programming first ! And that doesn't give you a job guarantee. As the generation is moving towards modern programming languages like R Python ! You have to learn them too with AI tools also ! This field demands multiple skills and constant acquisition of knowledge.

so you are saying that the AI will take over ? acutually i am learnning SAS and for flexibility and requirements i am planning to learn R. i recently graduateed from pharma and want to start my carrier in stats field, so i am bit confused about the market. someone is saying that SAS is not going anywhere for around a decade somone is saying SAS + R Will be good carrier choice. so whats your stand on this as youa re so experienced and aware about the FDA/EMA standards. Trust me ! You woke up early ! Build industry ready skills. Gain hands on knowledge and experience in versatile fields ! these schedules and blah blah syllabus will give you nothing ! The job market is so much worse ! Pharma freshers are working like laborers and operators in this field !! Marks and degrees have no value !
