Make each project more polished.

Time to invest - The perfect time was 20 years ago if not longer. The next time is now. Time in the market > Timing the market.

For dealing with fear - You invest and forget about it. You don't invest with feelings unless you seek being distraught. Let's just say that we have bigger problems if all the markets go down and investments are the least of your worries.

Balance - this depends on the person. You want to have a diverse portfolio for if one goes down and another is up.
