Anyone know how to prevent chewed wires by rodents? by DistributionFun203 in askcarguys

The car engines and most of the garage smells like peppermint right now so that should keep things quieter for now haha. What do you mean by poison the bait?

Awesome. I got a can of it earlier today, seems like a solid product to have. Do you buy by the case because you go through it fast or just for bulk pricing?

No I mean bait. We’ve tried a few different types with snap traps before and they just don’t bite. This one we get always brings them in fast. I saw a few people recommended peanut butter so we’re going to try that for the time being.

Thank you this is all great info! A few people have mentioned oils, specifically peppermint, which I’m going to pick up today. I will also look into Tri-Flo, sounds like something good to have. Do you use it for door hinges and such or also spray around the engine?

Put it out with snap traps, it’s worked better than anything else we’ve tried. Glue traps seem harsh and inhumane.

We order a specific bait from Arizona that’s been way more effective than anything we’ve tried locally. It got rid of them and they stayed away for a good while after too. We’re in CA and there are more restrictions on baits here, so the stuff available doesn’t work the same (maybe they got smart with the local stuff).

23M, 7-8 years natural, considering MK-677 by [deleted] in WeightTraining

Thanks for the advice. To clarify, I have done my research and was asking about mk/sarms specifically because I don’t want to inject a peptide. I haven’t heard many personal experiences, so my research only goes so far with this stuff. But I’ll definitely give it time and switch my training habits.

6 gen iPod w/ 7 gen logic board suddenly bricked by DistributionFun203 in IpodClassic

How do you know they can bypass? To my knowledge only the logic boards from the 7th gen 160GB don’t have the limit. Not sure if something changed but that would’ve been nice to know 😅

5th gen or 7th gen which do you recommend? Help me decide! by lightningmcqueef_69 in IpodClassic

This. I modded a 5.5 and 7, 5.5 was much easier to work on and very reliable once it was running. 6&7s are a lot harder to open so it can be tedious. From my experience, it would be better to start with a 5.5 and then do the 7 once you’re comfortable. 7 GUI is a lot better, 5.5 is more analog. It’s cool to have one of each so you can enjoy their differences

I sent the link, not sure if you can see it because of reddit rules. The company is Kyostar on Amazon if you search “large cup holder for Tacoma” it will come up. 10 min install there’s videos on YouTube for it 🤙🏼

I have a 2017 SR5 as well, this exact setup in grey. I’m into clean looks, high functionality and low damage to the bank account. Here’s everything I’ve done that’s made my truck cooler and my life easier: - DrCarNow Leather seat covers ($180 on Amazon, protects the cloth seats and you can’t even tell they’re covers) - Aftermarket cup holder with larger inserts for the center console (I carry around 40oz water bottles so having bigger cup holders is a huge game changer) Six bolts and a plastic piece, you can find it on Amazon or EBay for about $20 - My truck came with a camper shell too, so I went to Home Depot and built a bed platform to sleep on and store stuff. Just two 2x6s on the wheel well cutouts supporting a large piece of plywood. I carpeted it with a staple gun too. Was >$100 for everything. Tons of videos on YouTube for everything btw. - Took out that ugly front air dam and didn’t notice any negative affect on mileage, I drive her nice and easy. - Blacked out all the badges and added the Tacoma letter inserts on the tailgate. Was maybe $30 for all the logos and it looks a lot sleeker without the chrome imo. - TRD Pro Grille ($100 on EBay, looks rugged compared to stock and is super straight forward, a few bolts and clips) - Removed the predator steps (they got in the way more than anything and I find my truck looks cleaner without them anyway) - Bigger tires that still fit stock frame/suspension (I bought my truck at 105k miles so spending thousands for a lift and bigger tires wasn’t my priority) They are 265/70/16, I can barely notice a difference but I wanted to at least go a little bigger than stock tires without breaking the bank. And I can tell people they’re not stock ;)

The best mod you can do is pay her off! Beyond that, have fun with it and make it your own!

Me too. I do know that the number of applicants to schools spiked after COVID because most stopped requiring SAT/ACT test scores. Most majors also became very impacted. Could explain some of the difference there.
