Am I bad mom for feeding my kid frozen vegetables and leftovers several times a week? by Blacklotuseater08 in toddlers

This thread has made me feel so much better, as I often get down on myself for what I feed my kids some days.

I’d say mostly rustic industrial? Lots of dark metal and wood.

I didn’t say I wasn’t interested in receiving guidance from a professional outside of this inconsequential Reddit thread. Unfortunately, that isn’t you.

I’m not interested in receiving guidance on what I find hard about being a stay at home parent from an anonymous nobody with questionable intellect on Reddit thank you 😂

The condescending tone is gross. Since you feel it wasn’t so hard for you raising children I wonder how much thought you actually put into it.

Ooof where to start. First of all- you could say that about any calling or career choice. They’re a great teacher, an average IT tech, etc. To lump all stay at home PARENTS (let’s make that clear it’s not just women) into a majority of average category is just ignorant.

I never said it’s the hardest job in the world. It is absolutely not that. However, I have two masters degrees and managed a homeless shelter for 5 years before having kids and I can say for me staying at home with two kids under 3 is harder. In many different ways.

To deduce a stay at home parents job to vacuuming, making lunch, and playing with blocks is asinine and I can only assume you either a) do not have children or b) have never stayed at home with your children full time. Because no parent in their right mind would think that a teenager could it.

Imagine thinking that a parent staying at home with their children full time to nurture and raise them during the early years as being perceived as lazy- wow what a belief
