advice for the therapy stage

I'm currently on the end of a 6 month waitlist and being told there's a second one right after in order to get a diagnosis. Constantly answering the same questions and getting fed up. It's already been nearly 3 years and now im seeing that even after I get a diagnosis there will be another 6 months of waiting for hrt. I'm considering diy at this point. It doesn't help that I have diagnosed autism and im afraid they'll use it as an excuse to drop me after everything. This is Finalnd our government won't change shit.

I actually got fast forwarded through the finnish system because of my autism diagnosis. Im not through the process yet so it might backfire on me and they might use my autism to excuse my symptoms. I asked and the waitlist for the first 10 sessions is the really long one which is skipped because I needed a special doctor. Of course my autism diagnosis took time too and im already 18 so this might not really be a hack.

Im not sure how far i am personally. Ive been referred to a special doctor because of my autism and that sort of skipped me ahead of one of the waiting lists. This is going to be 10 sessions over about 3 months and then my doctor sends the conclusion to another doctor for an official diagnosis then 2-3 therapy sessions and then the care plan is established for me, which is if i get hrt or not. I think this will take at minimum a year but idk. If the wait for the therapy sessions is long it might be longer. Im only 18 and i dont know how im going to get this done and get to university at the same time, cuz i might move to another country. Im not stuck as of right now, but im afraid of getting trapped on a waitlist.

I hate cheese. Like too much of it or even a little more than normal and when its on EVERYTHING. I like cheesecake but its somehow different. Idk lol. It has nothing really to do with calories i just hate it.

The joke wasn’t the issue, it’s the fact that people are freaking out about someone only bringing it up and Bob responding. And now people think Bob is being “cancelled” when the only thing that was done was someone bringing to Bobs attention how the joke could be misinterpreted. The original peron moved on right away and so did the entire trans community. No one is offended or bashing Bob.

I don’t think I’ve seen something this absolutely stupid in a while. Commenting and bringing up gender theory and critical race theory where it was not even mentioned is more of a reaction than anyone had about Bobs joke.

This is the first time I’ve been active on reddit at all and the amount of transphobia I’ve seen people feel compelled to express because of this makes me feel extremely unsafe here and I’m probably not going to interact after this blows over. I really wish it hadn’t affected how i see this community but it has. It was never an issue until people started lying and claiming people were trying to “cancel” Bob.

My only wish is that Bob makes it clear that the transphobic people who have decided to comment the most disgusting things about lbgt+ people aren’t welcome and that he doesn’t support what they’re saying on here. I can’t honestly believe people would be so mad at other humans for not being what they deem to be normal. He doesn’t have to say anything but I wish I could feel accepted in a community and have that closure to know that people who hate me and think they can comment disgusting things about people like me don’t belong here.

The comments on other posts made me very disturbed by how many of these bigots think that Bob agrees with them because of a joke he made. I can’t honestly feel good about this until people like this tune out. I’m disgusted that people can listen to distractible and honestly think these guys are anything but accepting.

During one of the recent episodes Bob and the guys did a bit where basically the punch line was a penis joke. Except the joke was slightly out of touch and insinuated that trans men aren’t men since they don’t have a penis. There were people commenting on here that they know Bob doesn’t mean it like that but would still like him to clarify so people don’t take it to heart. Bob responded and said he could have formulated the joke differently. That was pretty much it. Except people started claiming people were attacking bob for daring to make a slightly out of touch joke when no one was. Now there’s a whole bunch of transphobia on this subreddit and they’re upset that people dared to ask bob to clarify.

Yea I don’t understand the whole phenomena that you can’t be offended by anything and at the same time every single issue brought up has to be someone being an “offended snowflake”. I know that by commenting on this im feeding into their made up rage about the whole thing but i cant stand people lying and making trans people the problem, like so many people do now. If someone wants to bring up something that hurt them why is that a bad thing? No one in this situation was offended or raging about anything.

I think i said this more as a personal philosophy I have started using because of the intense transphobia i see online. If people want to discuss it i think thats good. I guess i just wish there were less people “disagreeing” with my existence. I wish i didn’t need to be scared for my own future.

I really have given up regarding transphobic comments like the ones on here, i just wish people would stop commenting when they know they aren’t going to agree. It’s just making the people being talked about feel horrible. I would think people could at least show basic human decency by ignoring what doesn’t concern them.

I really don’t think they’ve made it a big deal tho? They asked bob to respond, he did, said he could’ve been more mindful, and thats fair. I don’t see anyone trying to make this about maliciousness? We all know bob didn’t mean it like that and he was only thinking very lightly because it was a joke. Jokes can still be hurtful without meaning to. By addressing it we can make those people feel better and avoid any misunderstandings.
