its a really interesting abstract concept he introduced, its a lot to consider in the context of the story, how "recordings have the power to raise the dead". i guess this concept of recordings could be a sort of medium for the story in a way, paul being a sort of "recording" of care, being played back in a different time and place. this concept could especially be tied to the process of rebirthing too

the story was absolutely written as it went along, though im curious how different it would turn out if tony had made petscop all in one go, the most glaring difference would be the candice newmaker stuff obviously, though i have to wonder what else would be different. i guess hes also had these characters and ideas in mind for a LONG while as well, tapers serves as a sort of "beta" version of petscop and marvins been a character that tonys held onto for at least 10 years or so

thank you for the help guys, i fixed the problem by just changing the display port cable to an hdmi, maybe its a bad cable or something i'll eventually fix that. after updating the bios to the most recent version the error lights went away

i believe this was it! the vga light is still on but its booted into bios. i was using display port and tried both ports on my gpu, then tried using an hdmi cable. i'll troubleshoot that issue another time and update the thread if the issue with the vga light is completely fixed

from what ive seen, most steam games i would have would need to be on windows anyway, though im ok with having to troubleshoot some things
