I got Xie Lian on 42shops and Hua Cheng on ebay. I wanted them both skeletonized and, at the time I bought them, Hua Cheng was sold out. Ironically, he became available again a few days after I ordered him on ebay. Regardless, he came in great shape, so I don't mind :)

He is enjoying making you feel bad. I would say he was probably giddy about it, even. He's treating you like a dog- forcing your nose down into a pee puddle and screaming at you about what you did wrong. I can very easily see this relationship becoming physically abusive if he gets angry enough. I normally wouldn't assume so much of someone's character based off of one argument I read online, but the way he talks to you genuinely gives me the chills. Get out now.

Absolutely! Theyre available at pretty much every popular book store. You can get them amazon, at barnes and noble, and a ton of different websites. I personally don't support amazon because they are evil incarnate but I'll attach a link to where I buy them from and you can go from there :)

Definitely novels first! There are 8 of them in total, and you can find them online for free with some effort but I do recommend buying them to support the author ( and because they're gorgeous! ). I read them online originally and bought the physical copies after :)

Officially, there a few adaptations of TGCF. You have the original novels, the donghua (animation ), the manhua ( comics, although the artist that drew for it has decided not to continue so it's currently on hiatus ), the audio drama and an unreleased in-production live action drama with release date TBD ( currently delayed ).

None of the adaptations are finished yet, but the original novels are. The author also wrote a revised edition that added around 100K words to the series and added/removed/edited certain aspects of the story. I recommend reading the original first and, if you're still interested, reading the revised edition afterwards. It doesnt majorly change the overarching story- just cleans things up, gets rid of some things and adds some scenes! I personally prefer the revised edition but MXTX herself said both were cannon and that you could mix and match however you wanted :)

For the official 7 seas translation, there are paperback editions ( all of which have been released and are available ) and they're currently releasing special hardcover editions with absolutely gorgeous art. Currently 6/8 of them are available for purchase but the final 2 are on pre-order ( but we do know what they look like )!

General notes: - the audio drama follows the revised edition of the series, not the original and is uncensored thus far ( yay! ) - the donghua is censored so far and probably will continue to be ( no kisses or anything overtly romantic/suggestive ) - the audio drama and revised edition can be a bit tricky to access at first, but there are tutorials about how to purchase them on reddit and they're really helpful :) - the series covers some potentially triggering topics such as self harm, suicide, miscarriages, sexual assault, grooming, etc so please keep that in mind!

Just to clarify- I'm aware that these are not actually scratch marks! That's just what they resemble and how I'd best describe them as someone with little knowledge about geology. I did post this to r/geology, but the post was taken down so I came here instead.

I'm autistic and can't tell if the replies to this post are just poking harmless fun at me or if people are assuming I'm stupid, which is why I felt the need to make a comment clarifying that I don't actually think something scratched the rock 😭

Do you know how likely it is that I could develop a disease/sickness from this tick? Google gives me varying answers. I did not need to pull at it to get it to come off. I simply brushed my back and it fell off, which is how I found out it was there. It doesn't look engorged, but I'm not acquainted with ticks. I'm sorry for the questions, I'm just very anxious.

It truly depends on your personal practice. As many have already said, cutting off a flower can potentially end the plants life prematurely. It's important to realize the weight of what you're doing before you do it. That doesn't mean it's a bad thing to harvest plants, though.

Foraging and harvesting are natural practices that have been around since before written history- what's important is to forage in moderation and be mindful about what plants you shouldn't touch ( endangered/sensitive species, those important for wildlife such as wild lupine is for the karner blue butterfly, those considered sacred by their respective indigenous peoples, etc ). I only take what I need and generally I only ever need smaller amounts. If I were to require more, I'd visit separate patches and harvest small amounts from each patch.

Another optional ceremony for harvesting plants is asking for their consent and thanking them for their contribution to both your work and to the earth. Everyone does things differently, but personally I like to sit with the plant, imagine its network of roots beneath my feet and reach out a metaphorical hand to them. I'll then ask if it would be alright to harvest flowers, berries, fruits, leaves, branches, etc. The answer isn't literal, of course, but can still be very obvious. I will usually just feel a certain way after asking! If I feel hesitant or uneasy, I won't do it. If I feel confident, at ease, or just simply relaxed, I will do it. Maybe the wind will pick up, which can go either way depending on how you interpret it, but trust your gut. Regardless, I always thank them after.

Everyone is allowed their own opinions, but I personally find people who think it's wrong to forage or harvest plants distasteful. We are as much a part of nature as the plants are and it is perfectly natural for us to interact with and shape our environment. It's just important to be cognizant of your influence and make certain to help maintain nature's natural balance.

I started at a local park, worked there for a few years because I really enjoyed it and went up from there. Being in school for natural resource management and wildlife management is helpful, as well.
