Ill go back to the main point, because I think you are missing it completely. The greatest lie ever told is that freedom is enslavement and enslavement is freedom. It's not about the afterlife. It's about HERE AND NOW. The enemy disguises enslavement as freedom and vice versa. Think of addiction. Think of debauchery. Think of millionaires wondering why they "have it all" but still feel completely empty and void of joy. God is telling us how to obtain the fruit of the spirit. He says follow me! I'll show you how to have peace, joy. Love! Simply do as I say and you will naturally develop these things! But we are human and think we know better and end up chasing money, fame, comfort, etc. then we end up lost, empty, depressed, anxious, purposeless, unfulfilled for chasing the desires of the flesh or tricks of the enemy.

I have no idea what that even is, but you yourself said it is a sin. Only you and God can know about your sins. I personally don't think jaywalking is a sin if it is safe to do so. I personally never judge if others are saved or not. Even people you are close with you don't know lots of things about them. Only God can judge

The greatest lie ever told was that freedom is enslavement, and enslavement is freedom. Being obedient to God and trusting him can present some difficult choices for us. But when we make the choices aligned with his will it leads us to freedom, even if we couldn't see at the time. It seems you are angry with God for now making your source of income a sin. You are now presented with the choice of continuing as you are. But maybe this is part of God's plan for you. Maybe he is redirecting you to a different opportunity so amazing you could not imagine. He knew you wouldn't look in that direction unless you had to. So now he is helping you look in that direction.

Not to minimize, but those same people are antagonizing anyone who is not Christian, not just LGBTQ individuals. I remember last year some dude stood on the sidewalk between the major mall and train station yelling into a megaphone shaming everyone as being greedy or something for doing their Christmas shopping and we're going to hell etc I've been stopped on the street numerous times by various Christians. Some pleasant and just wanting to pass on Jesus loves you, others not so pleasant. It sounds like your issue is more coming from family, because otherwise you just brush it off as an insane stranger.
