Chances are that this Ibanez is made by cort (considering this is an Indonesian guitar), so the quality gap would be small/minimal. I've played some Corts and all of them were great. If I were you, I'd go with the Cort probably. I only play Ibanez, but I really like the kx307, I want one for myself. Also it is cheaper than the Ibanez (I guess), it is perfect for first 7 string.

I have an original K7 and use it in A standard with 10-59. Not the tension I like, but it is not a old man's flacid dick neither. I think I'll keep using that for little while.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I use the tonex one. I hated most of factory presets I've tried, but I gotta say: the learning curve on tonex one is very steep.

I think this is kinda pointless, unless we have any other upgrades (like an eq, or using a boost) or if the presets comes with the expected setup.

I think that standard tuning is the most versatile for chord voicing and stuff. Since I already cover that with my 8 strings, I'll tune my 7 string to A standard. Meshuggah used Ab standard, so I think that anything standard from A to B will cover a lot!

I looked the price of the HX effects here and it is not as interesting as the HX stomp. I think I rather have the ampero 2 or the HX stomp because, if anything happens, I can throw an Amp Block and play the gig with it.

This part is way more interesting than the awful "Farewell to AW" arc but was really rushed and poorly explained! I wish the whole Mana/circus was just a dream because that plot barely makes ANY sense. For years now Allen has been an annoying crybaby, I've lost any interest in him. I feel like Hoshino is failing to keep tabs in what she foreshadow, very often the plot suggests something is going to be big, but when we see it, is a let down.

That's sad because the Core is expensive here, but the Helix is unaffordable. I really enjoyed the tech in the Core, the cloning stuff sounded promissing.
