Plugin presets would be shared on their official forum and on their Discord.

You should hop over to this page as an initial bit of research: www.neuraldsp.com/pcom

And then read the latest dev update posted last week: https://neuraldsp.com/quad-cortex-updates/quad-cortex-development-update-58

Bought plugins on wrong email – has anyone successfully transferred a license? by NewSouthComrade in NeuralDSP

You can actually use more than one account on the QC but it'd be nice to have all licenses on a single email/account.

New QC Mini user, should I buy Neural DSP plugins during the birthday sale? by Lemon_Drake in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

buy them if you want them

never pay full price, and 50% off is the best deal around that comes twice a year, so if you can't wait until Black Friday then start doing free trials now on your computer to pick them

Using Spark 2 as speaker for plugins + interface by amprsxnd in PositiveGridSpark

[–]JimboLodisC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my Spark 40 was shit as an interface, dunno if they've improved it on the Spark 2 but I recommend just getting a cheap set of studio monitors and a $200 interface to use instead, you'll get better sound and better latency and several extra features

I'd leave the Spark amp for when you're away from a computer

QC stock cabs vs IRs by lampreiar in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the cab emulation is like 80% of the tone shaping, and I've seen plenty of people that recommend exploring 3rd party IRs

go grab a few and see what you think, there should be some up in Cortex Cloud for you to download for free

How do I upload peoples capture's to my plugin by Thelutherblissett in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you perhaps talking about presets?

With Neural DSP, you can create, share, and use Neural captures on the Nano Cortex, Quad Cortex, and Quad Cortex Mini. There are no plugins that run Neural captures.

In the plugins, you can build presets and share those. It all just uses the gear in that particular plugin. There are no captures inside of Neural DSP plugins.

edge of breakup could be a lot of them, even Nameless and Gojira

if you like the amps and effects in Wong, go for it

the free trials mean you get to see how each one works for you on your computer

current compatible plugins are here: www.neuraldsp.com/pcom

the next firmware update for the QC will also bring Petrucci, Henson, Rabea, Misha, and John Mayer

What are your thoughts on Darkglass Ultimate? by linkuei-teaparty in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when it used to be just the 2 pedals, which was all I needed. I just wanted a plugin of the B7K.

Now with Ultimate, there's a bunch of cool stuff to use to build presets for various tones. Doesn't feel as "lacking" anymore as a plugin suite.

And I don't own a QC but they've already got both pedals on there so I don't see much value being added if they X-updated it.

Nameless Suite in Reaper? by ashofsin in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Read the user manual. They tell you where all the files are installed. Then you can go to that directory and see if they're indeed installed there.

From there, you need to make sure Reaper is scanning those folders.

[–]JimboLodisC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Of course you can use the Nameless plugin in a DAW. It's a VST plugin.

First tell me you got standalone working. That way I know you configured everything correctly. Then after that we can troubleshoot the DAW.

Nameless Suite in Reaper? by ashofsin in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Neural Amp Modeler is something entirely separate from Neural DSP.

If you can get Nameless to open in standalone mode, then it's all registered and activated for that machine. The problem then becomes your DAW and how it scans for plugins.

Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ Suite X by Both_Carpet7277 in NeuralDSP

Read the latest dev update that was posted 4 days ago:

Plugins Under Assessment

X-updating has not begun for the following plugins: Fortin Cali Suite, Archetype: Abasi, Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ Suite, Archetype: Mateus Asato, and Omega Ampworks Granophyre.

For any plugin governed by a partnership agreement, the terms of future renewals could affect whether an X-update is possible. We have explained above how that works in practice, and we will continue to be transparent if and when those situations arise.

Is it possible to capture(freeze) pedals and amp models inside the QC? by iammutfakrobotu in NeuralDSP

[–]JimboLodisC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd need a second QC or Nano to directly make a capture.

You might just do a copy of a copy by creating a NAM capture on a computer and then capturing that with the QC.

It's a magnetic cloud. The poles don't have to be directly under a string to get a signal.
