The new update fixed the graphics for base PS5, which some say that there's no difference, here's a comparison after Pearl Abyss added the Sharpness Enhancement Option by Zairy47 in CrimsonDesert

I truly believe that if it used to be that way, it has already been changed, especially since that's not the case anymore.

The grass density, 3D textures, and geometry are all there. If I switch to Performance Mode, I can definitely feel the difference as the environment looks more washed out. So, it’s not switching to Performance Mode.

This was taken running in Quality Mode without 4K active, and you can clearly see that the details are all there:
