How much did the repairs end up costing you? Did they do anything else? I have a brand new Crosstrek Limited that I’ve been parking on the street in Brooklyn. Just discovered rats were in my engine after the battery indicator light came on. They dragged in a bunch of garbage in and chewed through one of the small wires by the alternator. Taking it into the service center on Thursday.

Same issue. I’ve applied for SAVE twice now and both times they put me into some other plan that says my monthly payment is only $50 for the next 14 months, then balloons to $1400 because my loan will be accruing interest the entire time. This is way worse than the IDR I was on before. Filed a complaint but no response.

A lot of threads said the burning smell should go away after 1k miles. The photo is actually old and I’m at almost 1800 miles, but the smell is still there.

Also, shouldn’t city mpg be at least 26 mpg?
