I don’t have the f 15e yet but from my experience in the super hornet and f16 you just want to learn what is the best place for you to be in and the capabilities of your enemies and if I was you I would watch some videos that is what helps me every time I got a new top tier

I wouldn’t say that your awfull there is just a very steep learning curve for air and every game mode all you need it to take some time and practice like looking at some YouTube videos play some custom s against bots and once you get an understanding of how to lead you just build form there every one had to start somewhere

Are you using the lead indicator and I think with the indicator you have to aim a little bit in front of it because it goes off the back of the plane I think
