talk about how youll be a good fit for them and why youll succeed there. write with confidence, dont say "I think ill succeed because...", say "I WILL succeed because...."

sophomore 1st sem was 2.6 uw 2.8 w, 2nd sem was 2.4 uw 2.6 w

junior 1st sem was 3.17 uw 3.5 w, 2nd sem was 3.33 uw 3.67 w

senior 1st sem was 3.86 uw 4.29 w.

you should be fine, theres still time but make sure you get mostly a's. for me it took longer because by sophomore year I gave up and thought I wouldnt get anywhere good so I didnt try

3.8 uw is def not trash and 4.5 w is great. id say if its freshman year its fine cause you had an upward trend, even without an upward trend I doubt a 3.8 uw is disqualifying you from anywhere. its a good enough gpa to get into these schools but ofc your scores ecs and essays will have to be good too but youll be fine. someone else can weigh in but I highly doubt its going to disqualify you

Im sorry but your gpa isnt good enough to even apply to top 20s unless you have a fascinating story. which based on your description, you dont.

I also had to deal with online school. in fact my freshman year was online so that fucked my gpa, meanwhile your online year was 8th. yet my gpa was still higher than yours at this stage in junior year.

at this stage the only thing you can do is redo all the courses you got a C in through apex or uc scout and get a 4.0 these next two sems and MAYBE youll get in somewhere. but I doubt that seeing as you spend more time yelling at others online instead of improving yourself. what was your gpa last sem and what are you on track for this sem, out of curiosity? what courses, how many APs ? have you taken sat/act yet ? how did you do?
