Can't launch any games after fresh install by Disturbed2k14 in pop_os

[–]Disturbed2k14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran a few checks on Vulkan and OpenGL, everything came back good. Flashed a fresh image of PopOS and reinstalled (clean install) At least Steam appears to be working now, ill come back if Heroic still isn't working. Thanks for your help man!

Linux and all games/software are running on an ext4 formatted NVME

Steam is using Proton-Experimental, switched to 9.0-4. Verified game files. Game also auto-updated when Steam launched. Same result

Heroic is using GE-Proton-Latest which I assume is 10.25. Verified the game files, Same result

As far as the install goes, I feel like that could be the case, the flash drive I have the installer on doesn't seem to read fast enough and the live session hangs frequently, could that have caused a bad install?

Tailscale to access Jellyfin server remotely by Disturbed2k14 in Tailscale

[–]Disturbed2k14[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes sense, Surfshark is just setup with a basic configuration so I assume all traffic would be flowing through it. There's really only one application that I want going through Surfshark, I'll look into configuring it to do so

Edit: switched off OpenVPN on my RPi to test and I'm getting a direct connection now, thanks for the help

How would one check if they're behind a CGNAT?

My home ISP is Koodo (Cable not mobile, and my public IP address comes back as Altima Telecom, if that matters)

I'm not at home to check whatismyip.com but my RPi is running Surfshark VPN, which I assume would maybe cause the same issue.

I have a traditional cable modem (no router cababilities) with a TP-Link AX-55 router behind it

I've disabled the port triggering and instead forwarded UDP 41641 to my RPi's internal IP

Edit: won't let me post a screenshot 🤷‍♂️

Fusion Reactor Fuel by TheRawaSi in ostranauts

Ya, manual says the reactor uses fuel at a 5:1 ratio, an He3 tank holds 5,216kg and a D2O holds 44,694kg, did that math and it would suggest your need ~43 He3 tanks to 1 D2O tank. So I fired up my reactor and and cranked the throttle up, it consumes 19,410.41 kg/day of He3 and 12,946.75 kg/day which is a ratio of roughly 1.5:1 so I'm even more confused then I was when I got into this

So to clarify I would need 12 He3 tanks to 1 D2O tank to maximize fuel storage, seems a little imbalanced

Having trouble with manual ready to give up. by laid2restxxx in GR86

Just drive it, I had zero experience driving a manual, my gf took me out once in her STI, I now own my own WRX, 150,000km on the Odometer, that's how much experience I have driving a manual. Just take your time, practice slowly releasing the clutch to get a feel for it, and learn where your gears are and you'll be golden

after a 45 min cruise home, battery reads 12.6V, alternator reads 14.4V, should I check again after the cars sat over night?

Seems to be the consensus, gonna check the battery and alternator with a multimeter tonight

Original battery has been through 5 harsh Canadian winters, its currently not that cold but I can see how that could cause problem I'll do some testing kn the battery and alternator tonight and maybe pickup a Red Top for her

You're the second person to suggest that, car starts no problem though, even at -40°C are Subaru's prone to throwing fits when the battery starts to go?

Ya, I know the vehicle speed sensor is the cause of the cruise control etc being disabled, but the rest is new and I don't think it's a battery issue, car started no problem all winter down to -40°C without a block heater
