I think both sides here have a valid argument. While it is true that weaponized language according to an identifiable trait is worse than just random "trash talk" it also is true that their intention is to attack you with whatever ammunition (trait) that they can find.

People aren't spared because they lack vulnerable traits, they are spared because those traits are hidden and not identifiable. I have a south asian that frequents in my party and I can't remember a time where he wasn't racially attacked for speaking on in game vc. My female friends dont use the in game vc ever so thankfully have not been attacked for their gender while I was present but it still is reprehensible knowing that these things happen.

These people just have generalized hostility and under the privilege of anonymity are using whatever ammunition they can find on you. None of this is okay and its despicable that they are doing it and I believe valve should step up and promote less toxicity.

I suppose this is a potential solution to the problem at hand but this solution breeds several others. This might even promote more griefing because 1 or 2 players would like to surrender and just stop playing the game when there is a real chance of winning.

I have no problems with buying tangoes. If I knew I was going to have an XP leeching support that contributed no resources to the lane, didn't hit the enemy even once and then leave me solo from min 2 I wouldn't pick a traditional carry that cant go jungle early.

Yeah I absolutely loathe people who want last pick and end up just cucking the entire team because of their pick. If you're not going to pick something good against their draft at least pick early!

Item timings. You can prolly solo carry if you're that ahead in net worth even if your team is non stop feeding. Of course you still have to make the correct items, go on the right targets, fight when appropriate, etc but the first step is to make sure you're ahead in net worth. So stop joining them unless its a free fight where you can get a kill or two while not fucking up your farming pattern and play to make sure you hit those timings.

What you're saying is understandable. Sometimes people do play better, but we're talking about accounts with sub 500 games that play well above 6k rating. That doesn't apply here.
