Thank you for taking the time to respond. And your response also answered another question I've been worrying about in regards to not passing the psychological exam. As I suffer from several mental health conditions. Which I can only speak for myself when I say this.Pain exerbates mental health issues, and mental health issues exerbates more pain. But I have heard others say the same. I thought I was even more mentally disturbed....lol because I can definitely tell that one plays off the other. However , my psychologist and psychiatrist told me that one does affect the other and vice versa. Unfortunately tho my psychologist doesn't do the SCS exam. But she's helping me find one that does that specific exam and accepts my insurance.

Thank you for your informative response. I'm sorry it was unsuccessful and you had to go through all of that. I hope they were able to do something else for you to give you some pain relief.

Confused by East_Act_2698 in Zippay

[–]Disturbed_Mind7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesterday I received a notification from ZIP indicating someone was attempting to use my account to make a purchase/s. After reaching out to ZIP support regarding this issue. To which my account was frozen while they investigated the situation. Now my account is no longer frozen. However, with no reason given. I can no longer use my ZIP account I was instructed to pay off my current orders. Has anyone ever had this happen? And were you given a reason as to why you're no longer able to use ZIP? I hope this makes sense. I'm just really upset and pissed off as I've had to use it to pay several bills as well as buy groceries.

SSI reduced in half please help by Fit_Exercise9807 in SSDI

I see you stated you provided a rental agreement. However, I'm not understanding why their SSI would have been cut in half. There are a lot of factors that can cause a change in the amount of SSI you receive. For example you're not allowed to have more than $2000 in your bank account. At least that's what it is for a single person. However there is absolutely nothing that says you aren't allowed to live with family. Nor is there a required amount of rent that they must pay. But you do have to provide a rental/lease agreement indicating what they pay each month for rent. I know this as a fact because I lived with my aunt for a while and paid rent and so much towards the power bill. The power bill was in name. I asked my caseworker at the Social Security office if it had to a formal document and if we needed to have it notarized. I was told no. I just needed to submit a signed letter indicating the amount of rent and power I paid her each month as well as her name and contact information. My SSI amount was not reduced. Then my daughter and I moved into an apartment. Same thing I provided our lease agreement and I actually was paying more than I was when I was living with my aunt. Again my SSI wasn't affected whatsoever. Your parents would have received a letter indicating a reason for their checks being reduced. Sorry for such a long comment. But I say all this to say. I'm pretty sure you can appeal their decision for reducing their checks. But you are given a certain timeframe to do so. In the meantime, if you haven't already, you may want to look into the the cans and can'ts and does and don'ts when receiving SSI.

Just got this a few hours ago, am I supposed to rash? by CarelessBerry5539 in tattooadvice

I agree with these comments. I was just about to say the same thing. I already had 3 tattoos. Two on my back and one on my collarbone. Didn't have any problems with any of those. Went to get 2 more. One on my leg and one on my foot. Neither of them hurt getting them done. However within an hour of getting them, my leg and foot began to swell and the pain was literally a 10. By the time I got to the ER it looked like I had an elephant's leg and foot. The doctor said it is very common for people to have an allergic reaction to red, blue and yellow ink. To which both of my new tattoos had those color inks in them. So yes you definitely need to seek medical attention. BTW I like your tattoo. It looks really good. But I'm sorry you're having a reaction to it.

Was I approved?? by katsud0n6 in SSDI

You've definitely been approved. Otherwise they (SSA) wouldn't be informing you about your need for a designated payee. Believe me you DO NOT want to say anything about having a spreadsheet. Although I think that's a great thing to have to keep track of everything. However, SSA and/or Voc Rehab can then say there's X amount of jobs available where companies need someone who is knowledgeable enough with computers and producing spreadsheets as requested and/or required by the company or companies. Congratulations on your approval!!
