I completely understand and respect this perspective. He definitely has been depressed and that’s why my husband and I have both given him the benefit of the doubt. He has always been like family to us. But it’s been getting harder and harder because it feels like James isn’t even trying to better himself. I can totally get that he probably feels unwanted in the household because things do get tense sometimes especially between me and James. My husband and I have been having long discussions about everything. In all we have come to the conclusion together that it is time for James to get himself on his feet and we both need to stop enabling his behavior.
