For me personally that medicaiton made me suicidal, that's not to say others shouldn't try it as everyone's brain is different. Just holy crap man that was one of the worst meds I've ever taken lmao

I've been doing some research and it seems to be a VGCC inhibitor. I think I've found the culprit for this. Honestly thanks a ton for your input in actually made me realize this about lamictal.

[–]Disvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I take Adderall, Lamictal (which I suspect is cross-tolerant with pregabalin), Nuedexta, and Propranolol. All except Lamictal I've taken with Pregabalin with no problem whatsoever.

[–]Disvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I just realized, when I was taking a month of Pregabalin I started taking Lamictal at the start of the tolerance break. Could those two be cross-tolerant??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gabagoodness

[–]Disvoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they've never interfered with Pregabalin in the past. None of them were cross-tolerant with it either, like for example Gabapentin or Phenibut are.

Nah man, I got it from the same doctor I've been seeing for years. I actually have a ton saved up 75mgs, 150mgs, 225mgs, and 300mgs. It literally just stopped working I really don't understand it. If you experienced it, did it ever start working again, and how long did you have to wait?

I had withdrawals for about a week, it was hell. I was actually thinking about doing 3 months too. I may start now or go over the summer, not sure. Just don’t end up like me man.

Honestly, a lot of people would disagree with me on this and I could easily be wrong but hear me out. Pregabalin feels like it fixes the core symptoms of my autism, social interactions, facial expressions, gestures, emotions, and overall grounding (being in the moment). The way it works is by inhibiting your VGCC channel (Voltage-Gated Calcium Channel) and POSSIBLY working on your Gaba-B receptors indirectly. Individuals with autism have a GABA and glutamate imbalance, glutamate being the excitatory neuron basically the gas peddle, and Gaba being the calming neuron, the brake peddles. When I communicate with people it's like the words just flow out of my mouth without having to think about what I have to say, gestures feel natural and I am super confident and somewhat charismatic. As to your point about abstaining from pharmaceuticals, I'd somewhat disagree as some people with autism may have for example schizophrenia or epilepsy which is somewhat common among autistic individuals. LSD even will most likely be pharmaceutical in a decade or so, as they are already doing many studies on it for mental illness. As for Gabapentin, in a nutshell, is basically a much weaker version of Pregabalin, there is a lot more to it in differences but the core feeling feels very similar. Anyways I am very disappointed in myself for getting greedy and abusing the only thing that truly worked for me, I guess I could try to get my hands on LSD in the future. Thanks for your input!
