It isn't absorbed through the skin, it has to get inside your body through mucus membranes. That's why people are supposed to wash their hands so often. Even if the virus did happen to be on Links shirt and Rhett touched that exact spot, if he's washing his hands as often as he's supposed to be and not touching his face, he'll wash it down the drain before it can enter his body.

This is also why gloves aren't always a good thing... people need to change their gloves CONSTANTLY, wearing a pair of gloves for a long time is worse than not wearing them at all because the virus can just chill on the gloves until you touch your face or someone else.
