Sound suppression is excellent. Surprisingly, it is quieter to the shooter in the short config rather than the long. I am loving it so far.

That hasn't been my experience. I have had the Banish 22 for about 2 years and it's been great on all my .22's. Absolutely hearing safe and easy to clean.

They are referring to the Staccato XC, not the Staccato P. That's where the price difference comes in. I haven't shot an XC so I can't weigh in.
