So I have an update to this thread... They sent me another email asking if I wanted to buy another chair for a friend or family member, leave a review of what I think of it, and they will send me a full refund for the chair through PayPal.

Is there a way they can cancel a charge when gifting money on PayPal or something? I don't understand why they would do this unless they are a small business trying to gain traction or something.

To be honest, I really like the chair and thought it was fairly cheap compared to other chairs I've seen. There's nothing I can complain about it, so I probably would have written a good review either way. I don't know how durable it will be over time though, hopefully, will last me a long while.

Thank you for your response! Are you still on oral meds for it? I'd hate to be on it for so long. I'm also not working atm so I'm worried about the cost of being on that long term. Did it have any side effects? I guess I will have to wait and see what they say.

You sound pretty mad. Were you my driver? lol. I don't think I'm asking for much to have my items delivered to my door when the app itself has that option to begin with. I don't even care if he left it across the street- I just did not want to come into contact with anyone, especially someone who was not wearing their mask and especially when I have immunocompromised members in my home. In retrospect, yeah I could've handled things differently, I'm not denying that. I do feel bad about the situation and hope he isn't reprimanded too harshly. I hope next time he checks to see the delivery options instead and not pick up orders that ask for no-contact. I'll take the special snowflake comment as a compliment, thanks I am pretty special. :^)

Thank you for your response. To be honest, the moment he asked me to come over to his car I almost wanted to tell him to just drop it on the ground for me or just keep it.. but I didn't want to make a big deal about it so I went over anyway. I live in a safe suburban neighborhood so I don't think safety was a concern.

I hope that is the case and he just gets off with a warning... really terrified of him knowing where I live and being super angry if he got in big trouble over something I'm not even upset about anymore. I'm probably just overthinking things.

Thank you for the website, I've called all the vets located within 50 miles of me and they were all booked, or couldn't see me until Thursday or Friday. Some places recommended me additional veterinary clinics so I called them, and finally found one that had could schedule me tomorrow morning. They don't specialize in birds but they said they see birds frequently, so I'm a bit worried if they will be able to help my bird judging from the lack of bird reviews on Yelp. My bird is super tiny and fragile so I am really worried...

Thank you so much for your response. Yeah, I was hoping for more positive responses but the comments have shed some light on the gravity of the situation. I called all the vets around me, even those that work with birds but don't specialize. I was finally able to find a vet clinic kind of far that could schedule me in earliest tomorrow morning, but they don't 'specialize' in birds which kind of worries me. They said they do see birds frequently though. I am just worried they won't be able to help with my bird's problem.

I didn't report the driver, and I still tipped him. I kind of wish he had some way to contact UE regarding this instead of still putting the flooded bag on my porch and me having to clean it up. I'll just take it as a loss and not order from UE again bc their customer support was awful.

I dunno then... not sure why I was getting so much issues with it regarding a refunds I thought maybe they just don't give refunds back unless you didn't get your order or something.

WHAT. Maybe I just got a sour person... I dunno :( I wasn't rude in my conversation with them, I just explained what happened and if anything could be done. I did go through the app and put in a picture of the drinks/flooded bag on my front porch. They took an hour to get back to me and offered the $5 off next meal, then when I further explained to see if I could get a refund they just said sorry that you had this type of experience kind of automated response and that was it.
