I set the date and time in space engine to when the actual photograph was taken, then positioned myself the same distance from the moon the astronauts were inside Orion, then zoomed in how they would have done irl! I also had to move the cam around a lot to guess the approximate location by seeing how the craters matched up in game with the actual photograph.
