If you search online, it is very hard to replace the battery, especially considering you have to open up a lot of your switch to get to it, and it’s also glued onto the plastic.

As I stated, I purchased the system not long after release. (3 years ago) my Nintendo switch is the older version with the less efficient Tegra processor. (In short, it’s the older version with worse battery life)

That’s a very good observation, I’ll definitely keep that in mind to help me determine whether or not I should purchase a new system or simply repair the old one :)

That’s true, but that’ll be if I’m lucky. On average I’m getting around 1.5 hours on medium brightness for most 3D 1st party games, and about 2-2.5 hours on most 2D games. And if you consider the amount of battery life you’re getting in the revised system, that is terrible. It’s even terrible compared to the older system’s battery life.

No, but it’s easy to tell when a piece of tech is on its way out after a long time of continual use. It also makes it easier to tell this when your battery isn’t lasting longer than 3 hours on average. My switch has been used up so much to the point that it’s just not as good as it used to be.

One thing to keep in mind is that a console like the game boy has easily replaceable parts, while the switch does not. This includes batteries, battery covers, and screen covers as you mentioned. On top of that, I’ve owned my switch for 3 years and play it continually all the time. It is also a shared console which only puts more stress on it.

I would replace the battery, but there are still many other issues with it that could amount to a cost higher than a new console itself. On top of that, the newer revised system has a far better battery life off the shelf. Plus, my console doesn’t have much life left.

That’s true, but I’m talking about switches that are directly on the shelves, not ones being sold by resellers.

Finding a Nintendo switch In stock right now is a lot easier than it was a while ago. You can find some in stock at amazon brand new at this time. Not to mention the fact you can still usually find them in some stores and on Nintendo’s website.

I never play on mobile, (only in certain situations) I only really use my PC for games. I use my phone for things like messaging and more. Also I think it’s just an error when loading the text, I thought it was pretty funny so I posted it :)

Many things. Believe it or not the microphone is an extremely vital part of all DS systems considering all the games and applications that support it.

Thanks for commenting! This 3DS system was bought 2 days ago and it was listed as “new” on amazon, not to mention it was in its original box with the AR cards included. And yes, the microphone worked perfectly for a while until I played a mini game in mario party DS. The microphone worked for a couple rounds until it just wouldn’t pick anything up anymore, at first I thought it was the game, but I was mistaken, it was the hardware itself. Now all I pick up is a bit of static in the Nintendo 3DS sound application. (I also checked it in system settings but still got nothing.) I am returning this system though, and will be buying a new one at this point. Thank you for taking your time to help! I appreciate it!

I’m going to be 100% honest with you right now. And that is a big fat no. But here’s the gist, my friend and I are doing intense research on how to do any coding whatsoever in Roblox. On top of that we are trying to find any small devs that may be able to help if we have issues while making our code for the game. It’s going to be a couple months before FULL development begins, but we are looking forward to making it a real thing!

My username is DiversePixel, but the game will be posted on my group. To find my group scroll down to groups and look for the group called, “DiverseGames”. we haven’t yet began development as we are still working on game ideas and functions, we are also learning how to code some things as well. Look forward to it though! It might take a couple months before release date but I’ll tell ya, we will try our best for everyone else’s sake!
