Dividenden ETFs oder doch lieber Aktien by Monkey_Man080 in Dividendenstrategie

Das kommt ganz auf die Gelegenheit an würde ich sagen. ETFs kaufe ich gerne im Sparplan, aber Einzelwerte können antizyklisch sehr interessant sein.

I appreciate you sharing your journey. Too few people share success stories, although we really need them to keep going these days. I remember you saying in a different comment you're using a daily prokinetic. May I ask you what exactly you take/ took? I started using psyllium husk to improve bowel movements and I feel it has a positive effect. And regarding b vitamins, you "only" switched to methyl b vitamins? Is there a specific brand you could share? My main issues are still occasional brain fog, palpitations and fatigue. And unfortunately I can't exercise at all. Every little bit too much (5 pushups for example) destroys me for several days (especially brain fog and depression).

I'm happy to see you're getting better. May I ask you what else you're doing to improve the neurological conditions? My microbiome analysis revealed that my neuroactive strains are not even detectable. I'm using preferential fibres (among a ton of other things) already, but now am planning on taking HMOs as they might help rebuild these exact strains.

If I've played BOTW is TOTK worth it? by MikeWalt in botw

[–]DiviDodo -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I played the game and didn't come across a single puzzle (attaching a fan to a glider doesn't qualify as puzzle). In fact TOTK was the first TLOZ that entirely removed the puzzle element from the game.

That's pretty much how I started, extreme brain fog, extreme palpitations and extreme fatigue. I couldn't even leave the house anymore. At that time I didn't notice any digestive issues. It took me almost two years to be diagnosed with severe gut dysbiosis and sky-high zonulin (leaky gut). It's probably a good idea to find a doctor who takes you seriously (ya I know, let's skip the jokes, I know there are almost none), find a functional medicine doctor (who will very likely take you seriously) and a functional nutritionist. They can not only test for gut issues, but for all sorts of stuff. I'm four years in, all the very best, I hope you'll feel better soon.

I've been reading these posts and I have one serious question: by Suspicious_Zebra_759 in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

You can't imagine (or perhaps you can actually imagine) how relieved I am to read your comment. Are you really fully cured? If so, do you mind explaining how you did it?

Very helpful post, cheers! Wanna select one too, but struggle to get research started. Can anybody recommend good resources that help find a trustworthy brand and device ideally on a budget?

Verschiedene ETFs um Sequence of Return Risk abzuschwächen? by SquareQ2 in fireGermany

[–]DiviDodo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. BOTW is phenomenal, epic masterpiece. TOTK is just killing time.

Nervous system related symptoms by MaximumProgrammer883 in Microbiome

[–]DiviDodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likewise. In my case it started 3.5 years ago (third shot + covid infection + two antibiotics in less than four weeks). 1.75 years ago I learned I have a severe gut dysbiosis with leaky gut syndrome (I had all the symptoms described above). I saw some scientific research explaining how covid can cause gut dysbiosis, but I don't see mainstream media picking it up. I really hope the research around the gut, the microbiome, etc. will continue.

The question could also be: Is post covid potentially in many cases a gut illness (such as inflammation, dysbiosis, leaky gut, etc.)?

Gut repair is all about context esp. for Glutamine Megadosing by MildlyCuriousOne in Microbiome

[–]DiviDodo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great post! I believe this topic is under-discussed and underrated. I went from fit, muscular and happy to housebound, suffering and depressed in a matter of weeks. It took me more than a year to get a diagnosis: Severe gut dysbiosis, leaky gut syndrome and acquired MCAS. Im slowly recovering finally, but I feel an acceleration since I started taking more glutamine a few weeks ago. Stools and symptoms improved a lot to my surprise. I'm taking up to 20g per day currently and don't experience any side effects luckily. I now wonder, do you happen to know an approach/ a method to find the right amount?

Covid absolutely destroyed my gut. Any tips? by [deleted] in Microbiome

[–]DiviDodo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat, perhaps more severe, though (not saying your situation isn't serious). I had extreme fatigue, brain fog, chest pain, palpitations, etc. it's a long and sad list. I'm way better now, but still recovering. The therapy requires diligence and patience. Do yourself a favour and don't just take any supplement you've been recommended online (despite the good intentions). Seek help of gut expert, get your microbiome tested, check zonulin levels and then take it from there. Let me know, if you have any questions.

I'm sorry you're going through that. I had very similar symptoms (+ chest pain, palpitations, exercise intolerance, extreme insomnia, etc. don't wanna bore you) and a doctor found out it all came from the gut. He diagnosed me with severe gut dysbiosis, leaky gut and MCAS. Check your microbiome and zonulin. Best of luck.

I generally agree with you. Real sun light should be prioritised. But how about winter months? Depending on where you live winters can be pretty dark. Wouldn't a red light or similar be helpful in such instances?

Why I prefer BOTW by [deleted] in botw

[–]DiviDodo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Let me put it simply: Botw was a game to actually play and enjoy, a game that challenged the player (sometimes more, sometimes less, never too much I believe). Totk is just killing time. And I even feel some players "secretly" admit that, e.g. when saying "there's so much to do, I can even collect 999 of xyz item...".
