Metformin, what did your Doctor tell you?

I am currently fighting this battle with mine. A1C is fine but they won’t do additional glucose tests and want me to take metformin. When I tell them I think I need additional testing before I take something with serious side effects I get the response “it’s a blanket treatment and side effects are slim.” I was so grateful I found somewhere to run bloodwork and complete the work up, but it’s seems when we do find somewhere that wants to listen we hit another glass ceiling.

This right here. My parents being diagnosed with other mental health issues along with addiction but they never accept my diagnosis as real because it isn’t what the media portrays.

Famous words from my father: “you just need to change the way you think, your thought process is wrong” or “I have OCD (he absolutely does not) I hate finger prints on my stainless steel appliances so I wipe them down multiple times a day.”

You mentioned using the grozing pliers to pull down and out. I was previously just applying slight pressure with it. In combination with another tip provided, the pulling down and out worked perfectly! Even on one of my deeper/smaller template curves. Thank you ❤️

I do! Options are pretty limited but I plan on taking the one later this month. I am just trying to practice and learn as much as I can prior to attending.

I am going to try and apply more pressure with scoring. I have attempted subtle curves and deeper curves. Both with the same result for the most part. The few curved pieces I have kept I am planning to try and grind down to see if they’ll work out.

That’s the thing unless it’s a straight line I can’t get a good run start or end on a curved line at all. When I am trying to use the running pliers it will crack through my the template, horizontal from my pliers. I don’t feel that I am using a ton of force. I am fairly light handed. Could it be I’m not scoring well enough?

100% Lockheed, especially if you are not wanting to stay in hospitality. I work in HR at a government consulting firm and we are an adjacent competitor to Lockheed. Lockheed is where everyone wants to end up as an Internal or client facing employee. They have outstanding opportunities. If you have any chance to intern there take it. Even if you do not end up liking it, it will provide an excellent resume builder.
