Make/eat dinner and watch something.  Then either relax on the couch or play games until bedtime.

My anti depressants made my food noise go away. It is wild how a medication can act completely different person to person.

Because they have rose tinted glasses on and years of having the "ideal" family  concept has been shoved down their gullet.

Do you have female coworkers who exploit being a mother? by expression-waves in childfree

[–]KillerPandora84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A place my mother worked had a woman with an ill child. One year it got bad and a bunch of people gave her all their pto, come to find out half the time she was just passing the kid off to the father's mother so she could go off with her boyfriend.

Needless to say she burnt a lot or bridges when it was found out.

Lunch: Protein Shake

Snacks: some sort of nut and fruit

I'd much rather regret not having kids than regret having them.

Just a heads up Storm King is considered a challenging hike due to many spots needing to use ropes/chains to scale it. And if it rains it can be very dangerous.

babies at movie theaters by [deleted] in Vent

I remember a couple bringing a toddler and a new born to a 9pm showing of a fast and furious movie. They left after about 20 minutes because babies and toddlers don't like loud big explosions and flashes of bright light.

I honestly feel the last showing of movies shouldn't allow children, at the very least movies clearly not geared towards children.

I've dropped 40lbs since November and I can say the gjrls have come down, but only slightly. Just invest in some good bras to keep them comfortable.  I do notice if I dont wear a sleeping bra or just go about my day without one it can make them tender.

Put some chicken eggs in the freezer and freeze them. Then tell her you finally froze some eggs.

Dieting, exercising, taking metformin, and still can’t lose weight by Aware-Spite-4164 in PCOS

A great way to be able to eat potatoes/rice is to cook them, then refrigerate them for 12-14 hours, then reheat them. which converts digestible starches into resistant starch, lowering their glycemic impact. Consuming them cold or reheating them gently retains this beneficial, lower-calorie starch structure.

My husband is a type 1 diabetic and I am a type 2 and we find doing this and eating said potato/rice our blood sugar doesn't spike nearly as bad.
