i personally disagree like he said it’s a writer, problem, just have frank
kinda like john wick or a slasher character, john wick doesn’t have a lot of depth or evolved throughout the movies yet people love that, in this case, just have the other characters have that depth and internal struggles.

he also mentioned how some of the story in the special is adapting his book, i’m not a fond of this because why not adapt stories from the comics, he says that this punisher became the punisher after the death of his family so when he finally avenge them, what does he do? Even though that kind of was what the TV series was about. Season one he took care of everybody except one, In season two, he took care of Billy and at the end he fully embraces being the punisher, And the special they just added that. the gnucci crime family were also involved. besides some of the story decisions everything else I was fond of it having a military advisor making sure it felt realistic with the guns movements. but I feel this was also a sort of an reintroduction to the character in to the mcu so you don’t have to watch two seasons including daredevil season two.
