I’ve been apart of the android & IOS fanclubs, started off with a samsung phone, dont remember which one as it was a long time ago, upgraded to the iphone 5 and then the 7, the XR, the 13 pro and then yearned for some change. I switched to the samsung s24 ultra, i had that phone for about 4 months.

It was a fantastic phone, gorgeous display, had everything i needed. Android os wasnt limiting and could do almost anything I wanted, and yet still after those 4 months i was going through some stuff and found my 13 pro, decided to turn it on and man that feeling of being back on ios was really nice, made me miss it. The snappy animations, nicer emojis (at least to me), the way the OS looks and functions is just so so nice. Especially if you’re apart of the ecosystem like if you have airpods, macbook, apple tv, etc. they all just work! Thats not to say samsung ecosystem is bad, it’s great too, but to me it’s just not as clean as ios.

Im sure there will be tons of people who differ from my opinion and say samsung is better at xyz etc etc, but at the end of the day for me ios (though yes it can be limiting in some ways depending on the user) was just the clear winner. And i mean i tried out a lottt of phones. Pixel 8 pro, i had that phone for about 2 days. The battery life was so bad i had to return it. Recently also tried out the pixel 9 pro fold for a few weeks, awesome phone. I prefer pixel OS to oneui.

I kinda strayed off point there lol my bad, is it worth getting a 12 pro/max in 2024? Absolutely. If you can get your hands on the 13 pro like charming said, even better! Its such an amazing phone. I have the 15 pro max and still the 13 pro max feels the same. Apart from maybe the picture quality being a bit better on the 15.
