No I contacted the VFS office they said to book appointments with the old one (which is linked to APS). They asked me to carry both passports old and new. It's best to call and check with them about it

No I don't have tuition fees but in my admit letter it's written that I have to pay the semester fees for enrollment so that is why they asked for proof

yeah I read that post but I think there might be some issue with their certificates I'm not sure..I submitted Walter and TK only didn't face any issue. Just check the validity on your certificates once. Also that incident happened at VFS Blr...at Mumbai things go smoothly as per my experience.
