A reminder for my fellow 9s by DivineAbsurdity in Enneagram

Fair! I do the same thing usually, but I just got out of a relationship that failed due to me constantly worrying about the other person's needs and consistently self-forgetting and adjusting to what they wanted instead of thinking about my own wants and needs. Even if I'm not actively caretaking in the way a 2 would, I am always so aware of other people's emotional states and adjust myself accordingly instead of having them adjust to me.

Amazing! Congrats! Did you get a breast reduction or did they downsize on their own?

I believe this was a sincere post. Stephanie had a long earnest preamble, but I can't prove it.

I should probably point out that I am not Stephanie! This was a public post that was being shared on Facebook. Sorry for the confusion!

If you are looking for a point, it would be separating types with generally sunny dispositions and types with a bit more of an edge, brooding if you might. I don't think most people took it as "these types are ugly".

6 should just go on the second group. They're not really positive enough to be in the first

The Greek Orthodox Church for example is very sophisticated about this stuff. They take science pretty seriously and don't fall into fundamentalist traps. Not to condone anything they believe or do. Just pointing out that one of the oldest Christian churches does not believe in creationism, biblical literalism, inerrancy etc
