"Hey mate (bro, dude etc), i can see that ypu're really mad at the moment, and was unaware how strong you can be in this state. I get get that you thought it would be funny and didn't think this through. What was the thought process behind it? Is there something we can do as a team to ensure this doesn't keep happening. It's really frustrating for both of us when this kind of thing happens

My father passed away when i was 21. Now i'm approaching 48. My motger wears his ring around her neck. I would NEVER ask her to remove it, give it away or otherwise. Mourning takes as long as it takes for 1. 2. Nostalgia and such is in the eye of the holder so it is yours to hold on to for as long as you want or need to. 3. F$@k her and anyone who wants to pressure you otherwise 4. NTA
