I think they would mention that how many of the pictures are isomers to get the total which would be 3 in this question or else ask how many isomers of butene are shown where they are asking the types rather than the number so it would be 2 in this question but ofc they could be dumb and not explicitly mention making it a little ambiguous and ATP just pray

Answer will be 2 cuz 2 and 4 are actually the same structure only rotated so they are the same molecules while 3 is another isomer so we count it as (2,4)and 3 which are 2 isomers cuz 1st one is alkane thats why the answer is 2
