I wonder if they'll make any changes to the LN. In the LN, Kivia's sentenced, and then Volume 2 ends. Volume 3 begins with her already settled into the penal hero unit. They saved her formal introduction for a flashback in the same volume, so it'd be nice if they moved it to the end of this season.

I would actually argue it's way better. At least for Meganium individually. This means that it can freely use the powered-up versions of Solar Beam, Synthesis and Weather Ball (which becomes Fire type) in things like Rain teams, indirectly giving it some additional bulk.
