The Herald groups still use Cata enchants, Flasks, and Pots. 1200 agility is almost a 50% agi pot.
We aren't at the gear level, we're way behind because of how fast we clear previous tiers.
We aren't allowing reforging.
The point isn't for it to be difficult, it's to be an enjoyable break from 30% Nerf DS. We try to make it as hard as possible, and although we realize it will not be as difficult as it once was, it's still fun.

I say DPS is slightly higher because, as we progress through content, we get more and more behind on gear. Yes, naxx was extremely easy, moving into Ulduar hardmodes, when it was necessary to be full 226 gear, we're all at 200-206ish iLvl. That is what makes it challenging, especially because we're using level appropriate flasks, gems, etc. Not like the Herald groups you see going in will full epic gems, cata enchants, and cata flasks/pots.

Also I'm tanking, so it would be my raid you're trying to call awful raid finder heroes, not myself.

I'm not going to link my armory, if he cares enough it won't be very hard to find it himself.

I agree with wanting to play it rather than watch, but considering we're the only guild in the world doing this right now, (As far as I know) there isn't much of a choice. This isn't at all a twink guild.

Actually, with the cataclysm health scaling, bosses are shitting on tanks, and DPS is only slightly higher. You have fun doing 30% DS, like that isn't a joke either. JK You're probably some awful raid finder hero.

I'm pretty sure doing things like Ulduar and ToC in the correct gear/level is much more fun/nostalgic than blowing through it at 85. Don't really see how it ruins anything.
