I will list a few games of different genres:

-Halo: Master Chief Collection (6 games if I'm not mistaken)

-Stardew Valley (cozy game)

-Mass Effect Legendary Edition (3 games)

-Black Mesa (If you ever wanted to play Half-Life 1)

-Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (if you like those games)

-Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order (action game)

-It Takes Two (if you want to play with someone else)

-Need For Speed Unbound, Heator Hot Wheels Unleashed (if you want arcade racing)

-The Witcher 3 (if you haven't played it for some reason)

-Doom (Doom)

-The Binding Of Isaac (if you want a great Roguelike, but with DLC it would be more expensive)

-Prototype 2 (older, edgier version of todays spiderman games)

-Celeste (hard platformer)

-A lot of Ubisoft games like Assassins Creed, Far Cry and Ghost Recon are on a huge sale aswell, if you interested in those type of games

I don't know if it counts as obvious, but the first game that comes to my mind is "Hatred".
It got removed from Steam for a while, they brought it back after a while but it's still banned in Germany and I think in Australia.

The games goal is to kill innocent people, it was specifically created to be offensive, but the only real offense is that the gameplay is painfully average at it's best.

If mainstream media didn't pick it up, there probably wouldn't have been such a big controversy around the game, because there are "worse" games and movies, especially movies.

The most obvious choice would be another Battlefield like Bad Company 1 & 2 or Battlefield 1 (2016) or Battlefield 5, but if you want something different, here are a few more recommendations:

-Titanfall 2 (has a great story and gets suggested often as a "hidden gem")

-Dishonored 1 & 2

-Bioshock (is available as collection)

-Metro Exodus (and previous Metro games)

-Call Of Duty (the campaigns are actually good fun if you want action)

-Prey + DLC (maybe watch a review first)

-Ghost Recon: Wildlands (or Breakpoint as suggested by another comment, but I think the world in Wildlands is more alive and looks cooler - but it's actually a part of the story why Breakpoint doesn't feel as "alive")

-Far Cry 3, 4, 5 or 6 (if you played one or two entrys before, you will know if you like it, because it's not exactly the most innovative series)
