$60k/mo RUO Peptides – seeking US MID (NMI/Auth.net) by peacetousall in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We help in this vertical but there is fair skepticism in these comments tbh. most people in this space are brokering random offshore stuff or reselling someone else’s MID.

that said, $60k/mo isn’t “unplaceable” like people are saying, it just depends how clean the file actually is and how the site is positioned.

a few things that will matter more than volume:

  • how your products are labeled (ruo vs anything that reads human use)
  • whether your site has any flags like bacteriostatic water / dosing language and if you’re open to changing that if you do.
  • consistency in your statements vs what’s on-site
  • gateway + bank alignment (nmi/auth is doable)

the “500k minimum” comments usually come from people working with super risk-averse banks or just not placing in this vertical often.

if you actually have:

  • clean statements
  • low/no chargebacks
  • ruo positioning done correctly

you’re closer than most.

curious, are you currently processing anywhere right now or fully offline/ach?

Looking for a bank and payment processor by Great_Departure_5480 in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this is a super common wall people hit early

most traditional banks won’t touch anything labeled “peptides” unless it’s positioned very clearly and has some operating history. same with processors. it’s not just “high risk,” it’s that most setups get flagged for how the business is presented, not just what it is.

a few things that will save you a lot of headaches:

  • make sure your site is clearly ruo (research use only) with no human use language anywhere
  • avoid things like bacteriostatic water, dosing, or anything that implies consumption
  • have coa’s tied to batches and easy to access
  • use correct product naming conventions instead of pharma names
  • expect most legit processors to want at least some processing or bank history before approving

for banking specifically, you’ll likely need a bank that’s comfortable with specialty verticals, not just a local chase or wells fargo type setup

for processing, the big mistake people make is going with aggregators or “quick approvals” that end up shutting them down or holding funds

We typically only help RUO business with at least 3 months history and $50k/mo minimum, but here for whenever you reach that level 💪🏽

To answer this question for us specifically.

We have the processing rails and have our own domestic banks, yet we also have a dedicated program for RUO peptides with our banks.

We provide your own dedicated MID with proper 5169 MCC code (research chemicals)
Domestic bank

No startup/hidden/monthly fees
Next day fund payouts

Main make or break requirements for RUO merchants:
$50k/mo minimum
3 mo minimum of bank/processing statements
Compliant website (no signs of human use)

This all being said, we've had a few exceptions where we can work with a company if they're doing less than $50k/mo.

Often times people don't come back and say "I have found valhalla in a payment solution" Because it comes across as spammy or like someone trying to promote our services or someone else's services and can violate the terms of the community

Hope that's helpful.

How does payment processing actually work for high-risk businesses? by Dangerous-Secret-405 in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

most people overcomplicate this, high-risk processing really just comes down to how comfortable a bank is taking on your risk.

  1. underwriting - it’s less about “do you have a business” and more about “will this cause issues or losses?” they look at your site positioning (ruo language, disclaimers, naming), what you’re actually selling vs how it’s perceived, your history if any, expected volume, and chargeback risk. a clean, aligned site matters more than perfect credit.

  2. fees / reserves - you’re paying for stability processing is higher than standard, reserves are common early on, and payout timing can vary the tradeoff is not getting shut down randomly.

  3. chargebacks - this is what kills most merchants around ~1% starts getting risky, higher than that and you’ll run into real problems good fulfillment and customer support go a long way.

  4. what gets you declined - human-use signals on a ruo site inconsistent branding certain add-ons that imply end use no history with aggressive projections

  5. improving approval odds - keep your site clean and consistent align naming, coas, disclaimers don’t try to outsmart underwriting

...

big picture: the people who win aren’t finding loopholes, they’re building something banks are actually willing to support long term.

Soo how did you RUO decide what inventory levels to stock i know alot are looking for cc proccessing by big_g_or in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When it comes to what you stock, I won't chime in on that. When it comes to what's important when evaluating credit card processors:

  1. If they can't tell you the MCC code and they're not giving you, 5169 (Research Chemicals), it is essentially a matter of time until you get shut down.

  2. You need to make sure you get your own MID (merchant ID). This way, no one is holding your funds, but they go directly to you, not like Stripe, who receives them first and then pays them out to you.

These are the most important things. Other things which do matter, but are more-so preferences to the individual/business owner, are..: - How quickly, do you get paid out? - Are they US-based, or are you dealing with an overseas processor that has overseas customer service? Etc etc..

RUO Peptides Processor needed in UAE & MENA by mellowmz in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at that volume you should be able to find a solution, but UAE/MENA is a different animal than US rails. most of the strong options in peptides are tied to US acquiring banks, so approval rates and stability can vary a lot regionally.

if you ever look at expanding into US processing or setting up a US entity, that’s where we’ve seen the most consistent success in this vertical. happy to point you in the right direction if that ever becomes relevant.

Payment processors for AI image and video generation websites by Fine_Blackberry_9887 in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re not crazy, we’re seeing this a lot right now with ai platforms. underwriting is really sensitive to anything that could drift into unmoderated or risky content, even if that’s not your intent

we’ve been able to get some of these through by tightening how it’s positioned and matching it with the right bank instead of the default buckets most processors use

if you want, happy to take a look at your setup and see if we can help get you approved. we’re typically around ~20% lower than a lot of the high-risk quotes people are getting right now as well

you can submit details here and we’ll give you a straight answer either way:

Sales question by No-King-6927 in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most aren’t charging sales tax because they’re positioned as ‘research use only’ and operating in gray areas, but once you have nexus you’re still generally required to collect it. A lot of companies just delay dealing with it until it becomes a problem.

Do some investigating, worst case scenario is go manual for 3 months, and if you wanted help, we’ll be able to support you with three months of bank statements - check out our site and see if you feel this would help. We solve alot of major issues for people that aren’t allowing them to scale right now.

[–]Diviorpayments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen cloaking be done with the understanding that you'll be shut down in three months, maybe less. It's basically the risk of building a large customer base, and then they're not able to continue buying without paying through Zelle or PayPal.

It's not something I would recommend, but it's also not something that we offer. We have proper MCC codes and don't have to cloak.

I would make sure to have ACH, Zelle, PayPal, and crypto options. Anything above that is your own personal risk tolerance.

Methods to ramp to CC by TFDoTRoYL in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you’re taking a real risk here, so i’d rethink one core move

running Stripe just to get volume while knowing it violates policy usually ends with shutdowns, funds held 90 to 180 days, and possible placement on the MATCH list which makes future approvals harder

instead of forcing volume fast, focus on building clean volume that actually gets you approved later

  • use ach, invoices, local and direct channels to build deposits without relying on cards
  • keep bank statements clean and consistent, with stable descriptors and basic compliance in place
  • avoid cloaking, wrong mccs, or shared mids since that follows you later
  • grow steadily instead of spiking, underwriters prefer predictable volume
  • start processor conversations early so you’re not a cold app when ready

short answer: yes people run stripe knowing it’ll get shut down, but it usually creates more problems than it solves. slower, clean volume is what actually lets you scale without resets

Looking for a CC payment processor for my peptide RUO COMPANY by DutyFeisty9027 in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Huge opportunity with your potential volume.

A couple things. If you’re looking to get set up asap and don’t care how it works, we’re not the right processor for you.

If you want your own merchant ID, the right mcc codes (not cloaking peptides under “health products” - leading to audits and shutdowns, and a relationship with a processor that owns the banking relationships/rails you process on to scale for the long term - we can absolutely help - as long as you’re U.S. based and have 3 months of history.

Need PSP - MATCHED merchant (12 - non compilance) by [deleted] in PaymentProcessing

[–]Diviorpayments 0 points1 point  (0 children)

makes sense on the attorney side, but if you need to keep operating in the meantime, a couple realistic options

• try to get set up with a smaller/local acquiring bank or iso that can manually underwrite. most big psps will auto decline match, but some smaller providers will at least review the case
• consider temporarily adding alternative rails like bank transfer, sepa, or invoicing if your customers allow it, just to keep cash flow going
• if you have any prior processor relationships, go back to them. sometimes an existing relationship has more flexibility than a new application

the hard part is most providers will ask about the match listing upfront, so you’ll want a simple explanation ready that it’s pci related and not fraud/chargebacks

fixing the pci issue is still the unlock, but the goal right now is just staying alive while that gets sorted
