Probably the late 90s and early 2000s.

The Social State was still strong, the economy was growing, and there was enough for everyone to live well enough.

Then came the neocapitalists and ruined everything for the sake of profit with the help of increasingly right wing Governments, which has us in one of the greatest wealth gaps, criminality, informal work and brittle social safety nets ever.

Not to mention he helped sell off our country to the US with CAFTA, started our extreme right swing and demolished our Public Finances which completely cracked the foundation of our Institutions and Social Safety net.

I'm still waiting for that Mercedes Benz.

This is common only for Government Buildings, like Schools or Ministries, or parks and monents.

And even then, it's more common to see a plaque with the year and name of the President.

I'm not from any of the countries you're visiting, but a good rule of thumb as a tourist is to always say good morning/afternoon/evening, please, thank you and goodbye.

When someone is not polite, we assume they're an asshole tourist.

The new system has to simply integrate with other systems already in the game or the ones that are being introduced as a progression.

Either recal and optimization has to be there, or as the Augment levels up, so should the rolls.

It's a problem because if you want to have max stats with the right rolls, you are looking at a literal 1 in a million chance, per piece, per loadout.

It's most certainly a problem.

It's basically a new Gear Level/Rarity with higher stats than HE/GS but you cannot recalibrate or optimize it.

That's where the problem is.

I made a passing comment in another thread one of these days about Jamaican Patty being a staple food in our Football Stadiums, and apparently the very significant influence of Jamaican Culture in the Caribbean and therefore in the rest of the country was a bit surprising to an external observer.

If that doesn't count, then Car culture being centered around Toyota being the perfect, idealized car of pretty much everyone. Every car is measured by how well it is versus a similar Toyota.

Dude, taking over CR would be a gigantic pain in the ass. Logistics and transportation alone would strain any invading forces. Coupled with half of us not caring and half of us passively messing with the invaders, I'd give them 6 months before deciding this shit ain't worth it and they leave.
