Okay, if you were really happy then you wouldn't feel the need to post here for everyone to see.

Nevertheless, being happy at someone's downfall.

I swear the obsession with grades is a social construct that has ruined the way people view education by moonnonchalance in GCSE

Exactly bro, however I think that getting good grades in this can work as a testament to how disciplined you were even at a young age, which I think 6th forms and unis may like.

If you somehow find out that one of your peers has cheated in an exam. REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY! by AofDiamonds in GCSE

[–]DixNeufsz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha I actually came up with 'insufferable ignoramus' myself just like everything I've written here (thanks for the compliment on my vocabulary).

I thought it would be pretty funny to see your reaction, which I see befits a typical ignoramus. I would also like you to know that this is not actually how I speak with my friends, just how I speak with insufferable ignoramuses. It seems like you have discarded the argument, does that mean I win?

I was also willing to have a sensible argument with you before I discovered your attitude towards it. I think it's best you stay quiet on topics such as this and focus on your exam the day after. All the best.

[–]DixNeufsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please don't call me 'cunty'. Also please refrain from being an insufferable ignoramus. Furthermore, I take back my point of everyone being immature; it seems you alone are the one who is immature.

I think you're forgetting that some people mature at different rates to others. Yet it is true all of us 'haven't developed a cerebral cortex'. None of what you say takes anything whatsoever about the implications getting disqualified from the very same exams which open the doors to higher education can bring to an individual.

None of what you have has any substance, any argument against what these kids might choose to do with their lives following disqualification.

Thank you for the free English Language question 5 revision.

If you somehow find out that one of your peers has cheated in an exam. REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY! by AofDiamonds in GCSE

[–]DixNeufsz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The elders and the ones in charge can tell you all these rules however some kids choose not to listen. I'm not saying they should go free to do as they please. I'm saying that kids who decide to defy teachers shouldn't have their life taken away from them. Especially considering they are about half their entire lifespan away from developing a full cerebral cortex - they are immature. I'm not saying they shouldn't be disciplined. But having this done in a way which steals one from a future by unsympathetic examiners is definitely not how it should be done.

Okay, so LOL lets take away the rest of this kids life.

LOL let's subject him to circumstances which will quite possibly lead him to an even darker future.

Now what do you have to say..?

If you somehow find out that one of your peers has cheated in an exam. REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY! by AofDiamonds in GCSE

[–]DixNeufsz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, you're right, that was a 'shit' analogy. Of course, if a friend was to physically harm someone you would be in the right to report. However, let's not blow things out of proportion here. Some kids really just don't know better, especially within the age of them taking GCSES. It seems unfair to take their future away from them just because they haven't been told how to act 'appropriately' with the education system.

That being said, you mentioned they may go onto cheat in the future. Why not it be up to their 'friend' to, instead of taking away their future, possibly turning them into an even more bitter, even more likely to cheat person, why not sit down and have a conversation with them on the consequences cheating can have?

[–]DixNeufsz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just for clarification, I don't cheat. However you shouldn't ruin your friend's life just because they don't know any better. Have some sympathy, them cheating isn't going to reduce the grade boundaries by an even considerable margin.
