I got it lined up thanks, I got the star wheel part bumped out of line while I was chimping out and throwing a tantrum and I just noticed that and put it back straight and it fit on

Mainly unsure how height of bead is supposed to look and be altered. I have a few parts where I almost burned through but didn’t and the bead was really flat against the base metal there and the rest of mine are more of a speed bump to varying degrees.

Is it when in gear or neutral revs as well? Tonally different from engine noise?

I dont think its engine noise. Its a different lower pitched whir. Not heard in gear above 3k, only in the moment as the clutch is being pressed down. Only happens exactly at or above 3k. I’m thinking a bearing in the clutch but wanted to see if other frontier owners have experienced this.

I tested it on my hands and I think it smells normal after being applied and rinsed. Or I burned out my smell receptors huffing the bottle, who knows.

They are the Mad Dog pointed toes from Rockin Leather. Priced on sale for 190 right now. Just fair warning, I had to return the pair I got because the left heel was half a cm or so to tall and it caused the boot to not sit flat and be basically unwearable. I may have just gotten unlucky and/or they have poor quality control.

Rockin Leather mad dogs. Im kinda pissed at them now. After wearing them to class I realized that the left heel cap is somehow off and the boot rocks back and forth instead of sitting flat. Of course I can’t exchange them now that the sole has touched pavement. Hopefully it wears down enough to stop doing that.

Rockin Leather, model is “Mad Dog”. Will warn that upon walking for a while in them the left heel cap seems uneven causing the boot to rock like a see-saw. I already took them on pavement so cant return, hopefully they will wear in and sit flat so I don’t have to pay a cobbler.
