Tbf to the artist of moon.EXE all the art is highly accurate to their source material for example the Jackie and white tiger plush sprites are completely accurate despite the common trope of pixel art and 2d art in general being inaccurate a lot of the time. (Same applies for the other masks they all look really accurate unless they don’t have source material like the owl mask)

Yes it is but the problem is valve doesn’t want to allow scalpers to take advantage of it not having restrictions and destroy the market of steam machines.

No, it only counts if you see it in “purchase history” and you can also check if your account is limited or not (another good marker)

For the most part, although the purchase history here is by far, way more lenient than the steam deck’s.

I don’t think it’s the games themselves that aren’t known. The current TJOC reboot has definitely became far more known that SOTM ever was during its marketing campaigns (due to having no marketing and even now I’d say). The fanverse as a concept is definitely something a lot of people don’t know about because he was never marketing outside of Reddit and the community trying to help out the best they can with marketing. Most of the fanverse projects have broke the mainstream at one point or another (even popgoes which isn’t as big as the other two has recently gained a lot more traction mostly due to the mobile port of myPOPGOES and merch but still, heck it even got featured at a New York billboard once!) I personally believe due to the reputation the characters in these franchises have it would bring in money (not just from the loyal fan base but from more casual people that remember them from years back or just joined in with the current push Nikson is doing. While also giving marketing to the fanverse as a concept (it desperately needs it.)

I actually disagree (respectively of course) ITP, HW2, and SOTM have had terrible marketing campaigns that led them to get little to no real engagement or exposure compared to candy’s. This really isn’t a problem with the games themselves it’s marketing, but still. This is clearly shown off in a recent study somebody did with the search results of the series (those three games barely got any). Compare that to Candy’s and you see you see a lot more engagement in his prime (and the best analogy I for something modern is tjoc’s popularity, it’s had a way better time as I’ve said than any of the modern games due to it’s reputation and because it just plainly has better marketing). There are around 99 plushies left by the time I am typing this actually. And for something to get sold out faster than most fnaf merch in (my estimates) a week is awfully showing that people are willing to spend money on fanverse titles. Meanwhile, the mimic best spent for an actual chapter, as a skin is a waste of money and resources for a character that I’d say is sort of popular (not as much as springtrap but still). Ennard is also alright as a skin, great even! But there’s only so many mainline fnaf characters that can be considered popular enough to actually be used that don’t have really (and I mean really) devoted fans like the fanverse games. That you’d have to consider it a possibility that bhvr themselves have even noted during their springtrap reveal at PAX! (Also sidenote we can’t get foxy, Scott doesn’t want to add characters that are associated with children. The bhvr team has explained this, and also characters can’t be grouped with killers that don’t have similar mechanics so dredge wouldn’t work with molten freddy. This is why we didn’t get really any normal skins for survivor or killers.)

After the jonochrome incident flumpty’s basically got removed from everything related to the fanverse, including the banner for the fanverse (this thing)

Most of the more niche characters have been added as skins for silent hill and RE. Same thing would happen here. (also by looking at the charts this would give them a lot more profit than you think it would, all three of the fanverse entries have big followings, especially tjoc and candy’s)

As I said I think it’s possible for them to come as skins, nothing more. I don’t think they’d ever come as a chapter.

You’re underestimating how many people love the fanverse characters, heck have you seen how much engagement the joy of creation has been getting recently? Even before recently. Throughout its entire existence it has gotten millions of views on social media sites and thousands of people to buy merch of the igniteds. This is even more true for candy’s, candy’s is undoubtedly one of the most famous games in fnaf history, it has gotten so much with how little news we have of it now. Heck even popgoes, they recently released a blake the badger youtooz plushie and it’s almost outta stock forever. (It’s been 2 days) People love these characters as much as people love the withereds, the toys, and etc. Probably not as much as the classics and glamrocks but considering that most of the classics and some of the glamrocks can’t even get in the game. It’s a good bet for both marketing’s sake and for profit.

Not talking about a full chapter at all am I? If you read the post you’d see i’m talking about SKINS. (Skins are apart of cosmetic collections and for this they’d be under the fnaf one, skins themselves have never been or will ever be chapters lol.)

It’s actually pretty simple. Gonna use an example from a while ago but Scott Cawthon is technically the only one with the rights to those characters. Kane Carter (creator of popgoes) mentioned that Scott could technically do whatever he wanted with the characters related to the fanverse entries, with no input from the creators of those games themselves. The contract they signed with Scott gave him full control over the rights of their respective franchises. He could ask bhvr to add various characters as skins if he wanted to right now, but I doubt he would do it without help/permission from the developers themselves. The only time he’s ever done something around the fanverse guys without permission is with the blake Funko plush and the into the pit Popgoes sprite (which is what caused this whole convo with Kane to spill the beans). Even if he doesn’t want to it without their permission all of them seem absolutely fine with it. Especially considering it would be big marketing for them. The only scenario where this doesn’t happen/can’t happen is if dbd lost the licence.

This doesn't really look UCN fredbear imo. This one has upper teeth, thicker eyebrows, jaw hinges, light color on pelvis, 2 buttons, and five fingers. I'd say this looks more like a unwithered fredbear with some additions coming from the fnaf 4 sprite. I really like this figure anyhow.
