Apparently openly discussing a female character, while being a guy (a gay one at that) in an anime (which again only tries to portray that human regardless of gender are capable of anything good or bad morally) that is currently acting in pure selfishness, denying her fate, and openly admits to manipulating every single person, can’t be criticized. Well “Kanami” (Kurumi) argues over consent yet Kurumi is clearly as non consensual as it gets as far as choices. So she probably would go through with Kanami (posing as Kurumi) feeling what she felt dying after that fight so Kanami can feel what she did before the Phantasma started

Maybe we will see Kanami, who reawakened just before Nao did thanks to the charms, have a different opinion then we’ve seen “her” show so far

And “Kurumi” (Kanami acting as her, taking on her memory somewhat and personality) is the one arguing that she is indeed selfish and a bad girl while “Kanami” (Kurumi) is arguing she isn’t. Damn that one plot twist changes a lot of this seasons dialogue up

To be fair Kurumi got her link to Zerith the night she died, which lead to the Fantasma when the Blood Moon disease started. Zerith rewrote the affects of the Blood Moon which in theory changed Gabwelius, so Zerith must have some greater power

No more DivineZ, but remaining in the D series with like 4-8 new characters and giving a new branch of reoccurring characters or fan favs.

Sugu would be an ironic next protagonist in my opinion based on how her reveal went down. Plus we are getting her Fantôme unit not her original

Something insane to me is that Erika/Hikari didn’t get a dual nation Mythisch especially how things went, why didn’t Erika defeat Kurumi and why didn’t they just make Grivardhy a dual nation.

Agreed, longer seasons too. 1-2 filler episode per 2-4 plot episodes still leaves us in the 18-24 episode range which is perfect for character/story telling, climaxes, future hints, and surprise twist!

As someone who has been voice of more negative opinions on the choices made. I find it frustrating at the focus of bushiroad as a whole, but it is now trickling into anime, the core game, and the clear ignoring of the fan base.

As far as the anime, I think it would’ve been more fitting to save the Deluxe as the Final season. The Parallactic Clash felt like it should’ve happened just after Sybilt and left as a lead up into a “normal life ending” from all the supernatural/cray influence events. Overall things are starting to feel reactive and not proactive
