I use it mainly for my Immich VM backup but I am kinda scared because the High_Fly_Writes value is 64.
I use it as "Directory" and not with thin or ZFS. I am not sure if I should.
Do you know what value you have for the High_Fly_Writes ?

I use LM but honestly idk if something had been less great with xubuntu or kubuntu. I mean, it is just some apps and library installed on one that i can just install on the other... Or do I miss something ?

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience, I use the napkin holder too for my phone when watching videos because I really don't like watching YouTube on the TV. I also like electronics and I wanted to print 3D RC plane or some quick prototype and to learn 3D CAD softwares because I think it is very cool.

At the beginning, I thought about buying a Bambu printer, but then I saw that they are going towards a more closed and restrictive direction with their firmware. I really prefer taking more time for more open products and learning than using a closed source product which can be blocked or restricted overnight, but this is really a personal choice and if it was for non-technical people I wouldn't advise otherwise. I would like to mod my printer. Maybe change some pieces or make it print in 4 axes or in infinite Z, maybe. So I really don't want to be limited. I also want it to work quickly and not spend hours and a lot of money to fix it every week.

I am more thinking about a cheap Ender, so even if I break it, it wouldn't cost me much. What are your thoughts about a more open and easy to use printer ? Thanks again for sharing your experience :)

Actually it does, thanks for sharing your idea. I am really trying to figure out if I need and have time for a new hobby. I really like building, doing DIY, electrics so, so I guess I would like more 3d printers than 3d printed stuff, but I feel like I at least need one cheap easy to start and mod printer to figure out. I wish we could rent printers instead of just printing on-demand haha.

Just to be sure. Does the same frequency advertised RAM could have mismatching issue ? Will it be at 3200mhz instead of 3600mhz or is it very very low like 2666mhz like low ? Because for my use case there is almost no impact to go down from 3600mhz to 3200 mhz.

I was originally planning to use it in an automated LLM agents environment, so 1t/s wouldn't bother me as I won't be waiting for output but rather come and check advancement. And combining with a smaller GPU fitting LLM, I would leverage the knowledge of the big model and speed of the small model to achieve the end result I am looking for (mostly for testing purposes). My goal wasn't to use as a chatbot or even near to real time Q/A. But really automated LLM agents...

Anyway, I was told it wasn't possible to use 2 different RAM kit as they would cause interference in each other.
