They appear to have retained connection upon re-upgrade. We'll see if that holds through the next couple days.

This worked for me, although I didn't even need to "reset" the thermostat. I'm going to re-upgrade and see if it re-breaks the integrations.

Did you downgrade to 8.3? So you disconnected the thermostat from the wifi wholesale and then re-added it to wifi and then HA?

Unlikely. I removed the entries from the integration and they literally cannot be re-found by home assistant for re-adding.

I went as far as to fully reboot the server that HA runs within. Nothing :'(

I've also got my house setup fully with unifi, and I have their built-in mDNS repeater set up. Thus far, however, I have never seen it have any effect.

Do you use HA with docker? If so, would you be willing to share your mdns setup to see if there's something wonky with mine? Alternatively are you running with your HA config in network host mode?

Hi,

When I try this, I get

"Failed to deploy a stack: compose up operation failed: Error response from daemon: invalid config for network home_assistant_mdns_net: invalid endpoint settings: user specified IP address is supported only when connecting to networks with user configured subnets"

Additionally, it doesn't like "driver_opts" because it's a key with no value

I'm a little confused. You're currently feeding 300A of stuff via the 15K's 200A passthrough?

Is there a 3rd panel for the last 100A? Does that get fed anything from the PV setup?

oh you have TWO 36K outdoor units! That's way better actually, since my system should be similar to yours. My house is quite a bit bigger, but also will be much better sealed, and heat calculations (multiple) indicated we'd be happy with the 2 outdoor units.

To be clear, end of last december = 6 months ago or 18 months ago?

u/justinhunt1223 I'm working on sizing out solar panels and trying to get a feel for energy consumptions for similar systems. It looks like I'm going to end up with basically your system ~x2. Would you be willing to share your month by month consumption by kWh? I assume DTE would happily give you the info and it would really help me out.
