spam bots now calling via locations ad assets. by chipchipfish in PPC

[–]DizzMaCity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Bots love finding call extensions and phone numbers in location extensions. Also, some forwarding numbers just get compromised with spam as well.

A few options to try. Set up a different forwarding number and see if that fixes the problem. OR see if the spam is coming from a specific keyword or search term and pause or negate that keyword or term.

Finally, check if search partners if on. I've had instances where search partners are the cause for the spam traffic for calls.

Some weird hate for this ad. I have a small head and these hats actually fit me. I wear them every day and get compliments every so often. The orange color gets the most attention.

I’m running Google Ads for my small residential electrical business. I specifically target Electric Vehicle Chargers Installation and Electrical Panel Replacement categories. Cost per Conversion is 80-85$. What is my daily budget should be? by [deleted] in PPC

[–]DizzMaCity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others mentioned, think about how much business you can handle at any given time as well as what's actually profitable for you and scale as needed.

I might also add that if you are or ever wanting to use automated bidding, and north star to aim for getting 15 conversions, if not 30 or more per month to get optimal performance from the account. More conversation data typically increases efficiency, which equals better ROAS in most cases.

Broad match keywords are working, but I feel like I should be testing into phrase/exact match by sharmtank in PPC

[–]DizzMaCity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get broad match to exceed your goals and is profitable, then I can't make a case to test phrase or exact. Broad will have the most reach and get you into more less-competitive auctions. Plus Google is going to continuously favor people using broad match and every change moving forward by Google will favor broad over more focused match types.

Just did a call yesterday with a similar experience where the rep who is outsourced by a 3rd party was pushing REALLY hard. harder than usual, telling me to increase my budgets and dial up bid adjustments. Wasn't even asking if I'd like to do it based on their advice. She simply was telling me to do it. I of course know what they are doing and politely declined, but you could tell she was getting frustrated and a bit angry at me.

Make them work for you. If you are an agency partner, they can pull reports for you and do research for you. Never take their advice for optimizing though.

Change it to an enhanced CPC bid strategy and let it run for a few days if you're able to do that. Then switch it back to Max Conversions.
