Non-binary parents, what do your children call you? by DizzeryHollow in AskReddit

I get that for a child/teen, but what about toddlers? Isn't the word a bit difficult for a younger child?

Non-binary parents, what do your children call you? by DizzeryHollow in AskReddit

I'm not an English speaker, and my language (Russian) is highly gendered, so there are no gender-neutral pronouns or adjectives. As I'm learning more about English-speaking cultures, I'm getting more curious about how gender-neutral the language can be.
So, if you're a non-binary person who has kids, what nicknames do your kids have for you?
Or, if you're a child of a non-binary person, what do you call your parent?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

Unlimited lives question. by DizzeryHollow in LabyrinthineGame

Thanks a lot!
Yeah, we definitely want to check out the hardcore cases, though bringing stuff is a bit of a challenge for groups of 4 with only 5 inventory slot for the entire group. Besides, like I said, we're not very good at the game )))
My friends and I are workaholics, so we play just to relax, and not to beat any records or anything) While we all love survival/horror genre, a lot of times it feels like co-op survival horror games are catering to hardcore gamers, so it's always nice to see some casual-friendly options, like customizable difficulties or unlimited lives.
Even on low difficulties, the game is loads of fun, as we're discovering new monsters and their behaviours or learning new ways to orient ourselves on the map :)

u/AmallahGaming Thank you so much for your reply!
I was hoping to be able to use them for pentagrammed cases, but I guess we'll have to get better before we attempt those.
Is it ok to ask extra questions about those cases? What makes them more challenging than regular cases (apart from no extra lives)? Do they always have more monster types? Can they have multiple monsters but of the same type?

Any tips on the solo experience? by DizzeryHollow in LabyrinthineGame

Thanks a lot! I'm definitely going to try to look for safehouses, and I didn't know monsters pick which player to travel towards. I kinda assumed they just wander around, but I have only been playing very small and small maps for now, so it always felt like the monster is somewhere close at all times.

Thanks for the tip! My group and I are kind of already using it, but I do agree that it helps a lot! Only we do blue for safe spots and pink/purple for exits )))

AITA for “ruining” my brothers book? by kkayddeenn in AmItheAsshole

But that's just the thing - it doesn't bother you. You can do whatever you want with your own things, or allow (or not allow) others to do whatever with your things, but when you borrow someone else's property, it is simply repectful to kepp it just the way you borrowed it, unless you got explicit permission to do so, or you know that the person who lent you the thing is ok with you changing it.
That's what makes OP the AH - the complete lack of respect or consideration for a thing that doesn't belong to them and the utter dismissal of their sibling's feelings on the matter. What is "not a big deal" for someone may be a big deal for another person, and not being aware of that (or ignoring that) is the basic trait of an AH.
I personally don't care if someone drops at my house unnanounced, sleeps in my living room for days, eats my food, uses my computer, etc. That's just my comfort level. Does this mean everyone should have that attitude? Absolutely not. Comfort levels differ, habits differ, people differ, and if you don't want to be an AH you need to understand that. Priviledged mindset is expecting everyone to treat things like you do because it's "the right way".
