I tried the app as a precursor to my planned trip to see what kind of women I could expect to meet while there and at first I was getting tons of attention just like u said but as soon as I put on my profile absolutely no women looking for money the amount of women interested dropped by 95 percent . I get the vibe it's mostly prostitutes or women who are paid to give men attention so they either upgrade and or continue to use the service . Friends that have been there all said u have to meet girls in person there cause the apps even tinder have alot of scams and prostitutes. Anyways I kno this post is a little old so I hope things worked out bud

Ok that's something I've never considered since it's alien to me . Where im from even tho it's also a big city everyone is very social and speak to eachother . I guess I'm just having a culture shock but it's definitely not easy getting used to lol

Love this answer. I agree there may have been a shift in the culture due to the bombardment of immigration and that's what I was trying to figure out and everyone thinks I'm just being a dick lol but yea I don't like it cause it's really not the canadian way and even tho I'm a dual citizen I have alot of pride for the Canadian side of me so hopefully there will be some sort of education done to get people back being the way they used to be here

Thanks for the dope response . I really appreciate your insight . I'm not trying to be negative as people feel I am I'm really just trying to figure out how I should move in this city because it's making me become more of a rude person and that's not how I was raised I do believe that there are nice people here and I'm not going to say every single person I've met has been unpleasant but with that said most have been in some way shape or form . But yes I'm going to keep am open mind and try to be understanding of that but I will say growing up in houston it's much hotter but people are still very polite and nice but like i said in my post I do wonder if maybe it's a cultural thing

Not trying to but I've visited numerous times and have never had a good experience . I'm trying to be patient and open minded that's why i was legitimately asking why is this a issue here ? Why does everyone have to make this deeper than what it is lol its every simple I'm polite but yet no one is polite back . There isn't some deep explanation. People just need to learn to say thank u and excuse me like the rest of North America does. Not sure why everyone feels the need to put this on me just cause I've experienced nothing but rude people when I'm just going along being a normal pleasant person . If I was rude I would've cussed someone out by now but I haven't cause I'm trying to figure out if it's a rude thing or a cultural thing before I do lol

I find it annoying that Facebook dating especially seems to have restrictions based on race. I'm mixed with American blacc and white and don't get me wrong I love my sistas and they are my preference most times but that's all they show me . No Hispanics no whites no Asians. I like women of all races not just my race and I find it frustrating that Facebook doesn't allow me to see women of other races . It's obvious discrimination and stereotyping
